Malva Jewellery was a fresh entrant in the market, lacking an established online presence. Their challenge lay in the need for a comprehensive brand identity and an easily manageable website to accommodate their expansion plans and connect with a wider customer base.

The outcome

The outcome I delivered aimed to set Malva apart from its competitors by clarifying the brand's core value and aligning the visual concept with the owner's vision. I facilitated the development of a robust and spiritually inspired visual identity, imbued with a sense of luxury and freshness. Additionally, I provided guidance to kickstart their social media strategy, ensuring a comprehensive approach to connecting with their audience.

When taking on the Malva Jewellery project, my approach commenced with an in-depth assessment of the brand's identity and its distinct selling points. This thorough process enabled me to pinpoint the fundamental values and characteristics that set Malva apart within the competitive jewellery market. Subsequently, I collaborated closely with the client to craft a visual identity that encapsulated the brand's essence, infusing it with spiritual depth and a touch of luxury. This identity was then translated into a cohesive website design that not only mirrored the brand's identity but also prioritised user-friendly navigation and easy maintenance for future growth. The branding process is a combination of investigation, strategic thinking, project management, and creativity.

Yes, there is a lot that goes on in the background and yes, there are processes that we, as experienced brand stylists follow, but the one thing that I personly do is to make sure that the branding process is kept as simple and jargon-free as possible for the client.

In simple terms, these are the steps I follow in the branding process:


  1. Discovery and Analysis: The journey began with a thorough exploration of Malva Jewelry's brand values, target audience, and competitors. This stage allowed me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape.
  2. Brand Definition: Collaborating closely with the client, we distilled the core values and unique selling propositions that would serve as the foundation for Malva's brand identity.
  3. Visual Identity Development: With a clear brand essence in mind, I embarked on creating a visual identity that resonated with the brand's spiritual and luxury-focused ethos. This involved selecting a distinct colour palette, fonts, and design elements that would represent Malva effectively.
  4. Website Design: Translating the visual identity into a functional website was the next step. My goal was to create a platform that not only showcased Malva's products elegantly but also ensured user-friendly navigation and accessibility.
  5. User Experience Enhancement: Every aspect of the website's design and functionality was carefully crafted to enhance the user experience. This included seamless browsing, easy product discovery, and straightforward checkout processes.
  6. Social Media Strategy: Recognising the importance of a strong online presence, I provided guidance on initiating an effective social media strategy. This involved identifying suitable platforms and establishing a content plan to engage and expand Malva's customer base.
  7. Testing and Refinement: Rigorous testing was conducted to identify and address any issues or areas for improvement. Feedback from the client and potential users was invaluable during this phase.
  8. Launch and Ongoing Support: Upon successful testing and refinement, the website was launched. I continued to provide support to ensure the client was equipped to manage and maintain the website as their customer network grew.

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
